The article offers information on the theory of effective control as a condition for promoting the doctrine of extraterritoriality in human rights protection cases in the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).Topics discussed include the direct attribution of wrongfulness caused by investors, due diligence obligations for human rights violations, and the significance of the European Convention on Human Rights.
